Websites for Google & AI search

Search is changing. Make sure customers still find your business.

More people now ask ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers who to call. I build fast, custom websites for small and medium-sized businesses that show up in those answers and turn visitors into calls, then keep them running with a simple monthly care plan.

Why this matters now

How people find local businesses is changing. Your website has to keep up.

  • 1

    Customers ask instead of scroll

More people type full questions, like “who’s a good AC company near me?”, into ChatGPT, Google’s AI answers and other AI tools, and get back a short list of names instead of a page of links.

  • 2

    AI recommends who it understands

Those answers are built from your website, your Google listing, your reviews and the directories you’re listed in. If they’re thin, out of date or don’t agree with each other, you get left out.

  • 3

Most sites weren’t built for this

Many small-business sites were made for an older kind of search. Sometimes a tune-up fixes it: clearer content, structured data, consistent listings. Sometimes it’s time for a new site.

A 45-second story

The call you never got

Most local businesses never find out about the customers they lose online. Here is what that looks like, and what changes when the website does its job.

  1. Her AC just quit in the middle of a Florida afternoon. She grabs her phone to find someone local.

Your next customer is ready to call.

My approach

Get found. Get the call.

Your website has two jobs: show up when people search, whether that’s Google or an AI tool, and convince them in a few seconds to call you. Most small-business sites fall short on one or both, so that is where I start.

How I build sites that get calls →
  • Easy for people and AI to understand

Plain answers to who you are, what you do, where, and for whom, plus structured data so Google and AI tools can quote you correctly.

  • A headline about their problem

Your customer’s problem, your promise to fix it, and the towns you serve, readable in three seconds on a phone.

  • Proof before scrolling

Google rating, review count, years in business, and license right under the headline.

  • One tap to call

A clear call or book button at the top, and a sticky call bar so it never scrolls away.

Clear packages, published prices

  • Starter

    From $2,000

A sharp, fast site for a business that needs to look legitimate, show up in search and get the phone ringing.

  • Business

    From $3,500

For established businesses that serve several towns or offer several services and want the site to do real lead generation.

  • Custom

    From $6,000

When you need more than a marketing site: selling online, customer logins, or internal tools.

Frequently asked questions

See all FAQs →
What is the free 100-point website report?
I check your website, Google Business Profile, reviews, directory listings and how AI tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers describe your business: 43 checks across 6 categories, scored out of 100. You get a plain-English report with what is working, the issues most likely costing you customers, screenshots, and a “check it yourself” link for every finding. It is free, there is no obligation, and it arrives within 3 business days.
Do I need a new website to show up in AI search?
Not always. AI tools build their answers from your website, Google listing, reviews and directory listings, so a decent site with clear content, structured data and consistent listings can often be tuned up instead of replaced. Older or very thin sites usually need rebuilding. The report tells you which camp you are in, and I will say so honestly.
How much does a custom website cost?
The Starter package (up to 5 pages) starts at $2,000 and the Business package (up to 12 pages, service-area pages, blog, integrations) starts at $3,500. Custom projects such as ecommerce, portals, and web apps start at $6,000. Care plans are $99, $199, or $449 per month, and paying a year upfront gets you 2 months free. You get a fixed quote after a short call.
What's included in a monthly care plan?
Every plan includes hosting, SSL, automated backups, uptime monitoring, security updates, and a monthly report. Essential ($99/mo) adds 1 content edit per month with a 2-business-day response. Growth ($199/mo) adds up to 3 edits, Google Business Profile upkeep, a quarterly Google and AI search check, and next-business-day response. Partner ($449/mo) adds Review Growth, up to 3 hours of changes, new pages as needed, a monthly check-in, and same-business-day response.
Can I pay monthly instead of upfront?
Yes. The $0-down monthly plan covers your build and care plan in one monthly payment for 24 months, with nothing due upfront: $299/mo for a Starter site with Essential care, or $399/mo for a Business site with Growth care. You still own the site.
Can you help me get more Google reviews?
Yes. Review Growth ($299/mo, included in the Partner care plan) is a done-for-you routine: a review request by text and email after every job, QR cards for your counter or truck, a reply to every Google review, a same-day alert for negative reviews, and a monthly comparison with your top competitors. Every customer is asked, not just the happy ones, as Google requires. It works with any website.
Who will I work with directly?
Me. I am the engineer on every project: design, build, hosting, and updates. There is no account-manager layer or offshore handoff between you and the person doing the work.
