My approach
Get found. Get the call.
A local business website has two jobs: bring in people who need what you do (traffic), and convince them in a few seconds to call you (conversion). Most sites I review get some traffic and lose most of it on the first screen. So I fix conversion first. It makes every visitor you already have worth more.
Job 1: Get the call
What every page I build shows on a phone, before anyone scrolls.
A headline about their problem
Not “Welcome to our website.” The problem your customer came with, your promise to fix it, and the towns you serve.
The guarantee headline →Proof before scrolling
Your Google rating, review count, years in business, and license, right under the headline where people actually look.
Why pretty sites lose calls →One obvious next step
One big tap-to-call or book button at the top, plus a sticky call bar on mobile so calling is never more than a thumb away.
The first-screen layout →A page for every problem
Termites, bed bugs, and rodents each get their own focused page, so searches and ads land on exactly what people asked about.
One page, one call to action →
Example first screen
Roof leaking? We’ll fix it right, guaranteed.

Job 2: Get found
Once the page converts, more traffic pays off. These are the levers I use for local service businesses.
Google Business Profile & reviews
Complete profile, fresh photos, a routine for asking every happy customer for a review, and a reply to every review.
Content you own, without writing
A 15-minute monthly conversation turned into blog posts and Google posts that answer the questions customers really ask.
Ads that land on the right page
Each ad points to a page that repeats its promise, with calls and leads tracked so you see cost per customer, not per click.
A name people remember and search
A short, distinctive search phrase and domain, repeated everywhere you show up, so people who heard of you find you.
The order I work in
- 1
Measure
Call and form tracking go in first, so we know how many calls your site sends today.
- 2
Fix the first screen
Headline, proof, and tap-to-call, so the visitors you already have are more likely to call.
- 3
Add focused pages
A page for each money-making service and the towns you serve.
- 4
Grow traffic
Google Business Profile, reviews, content, and ads, all pointed at pages that already convert.
I don’t promise rankings or a set number of calls. I promise you’ll see the numbers every month, and we’ll keep fixing what isn’t working. See packages & care plans.
